WhatsApp Channels was introduced earlier this year as a new way for people and organisations to share media content with their followers. Since then, the company has been slowly rolling out new features for Channels.

According to a new report from WABetaInfo, WhatsApp will now introduce a new automatic album creation feature for Channels.

When Channel admins share multiple media posts with their followers, WhatsApp will organise them automatically into albums. Followers can then tap on the album to browse all the media within. This will allow for easier consumption of content in one place, rather than going up and down the entire conversation.

WhatsApp already does this for groups and chats, and now it will extend the feature to Channels. Earlier this month, WhatsApp introduced a way to pin messages in individual or group conversations.
