As rumours continue to swirl regarding the upcoming iPhone 16 series, a new leak on Weibo suggests that we could see new colour options for the upcoming iPhone 16 Plus. Apple typically retails its new iPhones in various colour choices, and the iPhone 15 Plus came with five different colour options.
Apple iPhone 16 : New colour options tipped
Following rumours of the iPhone 16 Plus getting two new colours, a leaker on Weibo has listed all seven colour variants. The rumoured colour options include Pink, Yellow, Blue, Green, Black, White and Purple.
The Apple iPhone 15 and 15 Plus, which launched in September 2023, came without White and colour options.
Previously, Majin Bu, a tipster on X, suggested that the upcoming Apple iPhone 16 Pro will also introduce two new colour variants, which could be named Desert Yellow (Desert Titanium) and Cement Gray (Titanium Gray). The Desert Yellow will be reminiscent of the golden shade of the Apple iPhone 14 Pro, with a deep resemblance to the colour of golden sand.
We have also seen many leaks on Weibo, suggesting that the iPhone 16 Pro Max could have a bigger 4676mAh battery, while the iPhone 16 Pro might also get a battery bump with a bigger 3,355mAh battery. The vanilla iPhone 16 is expected to follow the same path with a bigger 3561mAh battery.
The iPhone 16 Plus might have a smaller 4,006mAh battery, which is much lower than the 4383mAh battery on the iPhone 15 Plus. Do expect more rumours to circulate till September, when Apple is expected to announce the iPhone 16 series.
