Meta, the parent company of WhatsApp and Instagram, has reportedly started limited testing of Meta artificial intelligence (AI) features within the messaging app in India. Some users can now interact with Meta AI directly through the search boxes available on both platforms.
This new feature allows users to engage more efficiently with Meta AI by providing recommendations and prompts directly within the search interface.

Meta AI on WhatsApp
WhatsApp has begun rolling out its Meta AI chatbot feature. Upon opening the WhatsApp app, users will notice a "Blue Ring" icon located in the bottom right corner. Tapping this icon opens a new window where users can type or record their queries using voice input.
According to reports, the AI chatbot is currently being introduced to specific users in selected countries where the app language is set to English.
Do keep in mind that users have the choice to use WhatsApp normally without interacting with the Meta AI chatbot. They can still perform tasks such as searching within their conversations for specific messages, media, or contacts.
