Honda's supersport machine has been given some comprehensive updates - and this time the body work gets major changes apart from the technical upgrades as well, and the new CBR600RR tries to mimic Honda's MotoGP machine, the RC213V. We think the bike looks more retro now, especially with the rectangular design of the headlights. The fuel tank is a new design too, but the seat for the rider and pillion look all too familiar. The suspension and chassis have been revised, and so have the fuel injection and ABS systems.

The 600RR gets Showa's BPF (Big Piston Forks) to take care of the forks diving under heavy braking. The frame is lighter now, and the wheels are lightweight aluminium cast units, with the same design as the Fireblade. There's new fuel injection mapping along with an Air Control Valve, apart from software updates for the C-ABS system.
