Steve Jobs, the co-founder and former CEO of Apple has passed away at the age of 56. Jobs who had been suffering from various health related issues which included pancreatic cancer had stepped down from the post of CEO of Apple to make way for new CEO Tim Cook. Apple confirmed this news by posting an image on their website which shows Steve Jobs’ timeline. In addition to this the company has posted a small message which reads, “Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius, and the world has lost an amazing human being. Those of us who have been fortunate enough to know and work with Steve have lost a dear friend and an inspiring mentor. Steve leaves behind a company that only he could have built, and his spirit will forever be the foundation of Apple.”
