A recent report by Microworld unveils some interesting points about malware on the web. The report states that 41 percent of all malware found on sites are hosted in the US. The least infected countries on the other hand are Canada, Romania, Spain, Turkey and Taiwan. As companies continue to use the power of cloud, hackers too seem to have targetted these services. This shows as Amazon’s S3 storage service was used to distribute trojans. The report states that two major sites - New York Times and Gizmodo were attacked this past year. South Korea has seen a rising amount of malware and countries such as Germany and the United Kingdom were the next most affected by malware after the United States.
