ISPs to be fined for poor service from January 1
As per the new directive issued by the TRAI, an ISP found providing broadband services that fail to achieve the benchmark of Quality of Service (QoS), will be fined up to 50,000 rupees for every parameter found below par. October 28, 2012 / 19:25 IST
The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) issued the ‘Quality of Service of Broadband service (amendment) Regulations, 2012, yesterday, which come into effect from January 1, 2013.
