In an official blog post, the team at Evernote announced that it is showcasing a preview of its forthcoming Evernote 5 application for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, which it claims works well on the iPad mini too. Elaborating on the concept behind the Evernote 5 app, the Andrew Sinkov from the Evernote team writes that the app is built for speedy use. In a video posted on the blog, it becomes clear that the company is aiming at bringing access within a couple of taps of a user. On the iPad, users can move between the different headers (green bars) by tapping on them once, leading to that section opening up to cover the screen. Going back is as simple by just clicking on the green bar. The experience on the iPhone is the same, with users being able to move through the various options by tapping on the headers.
