After the recent tease, Bethesda has released a trailer revealing information about the next downloadable content (DLC) that the company will be releasing for Skyrim. The trailer shows a return to Morrowind, with most of its trippy flora and fauna intact. The trailer also reveals the existence of another character that is a dragonborn, and has shown the ability to ride dragons. Bethesda has announced that the DLC will be available on Xbox Live on December 4 and is set to cost 1600 Microsoft Points which roughly converts to Rs 1,100. The release date for the PC has not been mentioned, and since the PlayStation 3 version hasn’t gotten any DLC so far, it is doubtful if the console will get this one. While the original guesses about the character from the image that Bethesda had used to tease about the new DLC being a dragonborn weren’t incorrect, the guesses have been wrong for assuming it was the Dovhakiin – the protagonist of the game. The trailer mentions the return to Solstheim, and shows some new gameplay elements including platforming sections. The return to Morrowind has been heavily hinted in files added to the game after a recent update. There are files named 'DLC2' and 'Dragonborn', which were added in the most recent update to the open world game. These files hinted towards the possibility of being able to ride dragons in the next DLC, as there are animation files for riding dragons. Along with this, some other file names had hinted towards one of the most well-loved areas in the Elder Scroll series – Morrowind.Morrowind was originally the setting for the third game of the series – The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, and is the home of the dark elves, aka, Dunmer. Quest markers for areas in Morrowind such as Solstheim, Telvanni Castle, Karstaag, Raven Rock and Miraak Temple have been discovered in Skyrim’s files.Click here for full story
