Mozilla has released a new version of its popular Firefox browser. The new version, Firefox 18, is available for Windows, Mac, Linux and Android. The improvements in the new version are mostly under the hood—a new JavaScript compiler, preliminary support for WebRTC, and Retina support for those using Macs.You can grab the latest version of the browser on the official website, and Android users can grab the update through Google Play. The new JavaScript JIT compiler, which Mozilla has dubbed IonMonkey, promises a significant performance bump when displaying web apps, games and basically anything that uses JavaScript.
