Smartphone manufacturers seem to have entered into an arms race, with Karbonn being the latest to join. The company is going to launch its new phone—the A30—which comes with a 5.9-inch display. The Karbonn A30 is priced at Rs 10,900. While the phone hasn't been officially announced by Karbonn, it is available on some online retail stores for pre-order.As is typical of phones developed by Indian companies, the A30 comes with a dual-SIM slot. It is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor and has an 8 megapixel camera with an LED flash. It also has a 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera for video calling. The company has not given any word on the RAM of the device or the display resolution as of yet. Other major features of the A30 include a 2,500 mAh battery, which, given the screen size, may not be very sufficient. It also has Bluetooth, 3G and Wi-Fi capabilities along with a MicroSD card slot.
