Fans have been waiting for the Jelly Bean update to Sony’s last year’s flagship device—the Xperia S—since April 2012. If a tweet on the company’s German Twitter account is anything to go by, the phone will be getting it later this month. The tweet comes as a response to a user asking the company when the handset will be getting the update, to which the answer, roughly translated, was “we will begin the rollout of Android 4.1 for the Xperia S in late March.” The company however maintains that Xperia S owners will be seeing the update in April. This could mean that the rollout is due to start in late March and most users will get the update by April.
