Samena Capital had earlier, in April this year, invested Rs 100 crore in a series B investment round in Bloom Hotels for 35 percent stake in the company.
The investment will help roll out the company's innovative affordable brands to all Indian cities, Bloom Hotels said in a statement.
The group also plans to launch the first bike of MV Agusta in November this year and will set up a network of showrooms in top cities to retail the motorcycles besides providing after-sales service.
After repayment of non-convertible debentures (NCDs) and cost of financing, the Pune-based company will get Rs 109 crore. "KEL will utilise the net proceeds to meet various obligations of its business including working capital and substantially towards FCCB/debt repayment obligations to strengthen its balance sheet," it said in a statement.
The talks between the two players had been called off about a month ago and RCom is still looking to bring in a strategic player for its DTH business.
CNBC-TV18's Kritika Saxena says the valuation of the DTH stake is around Rs 2500 crore. The companies will take another 10-15 days before making any official announcement. .
