A bench headed by Chief Justice T S Thakur got infuriated when senior advocate Rajeev Dhavan, appearing for Sahara, said they have not been involved in the process of selling of properties by Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).
Sharing views on SC‘s stance with CNBC-TV18‘s Shereeen Bhan, Gopal Jain, senior lawyer, Supreme Court sees no ground for this order to be challenged. “Unless they come up with a plan and the court is convinced that it is concrete plan and they do intend to pay the entire money by cheque DD, I don‘t see any reason why the order can be changed.â€
