The 2G trial court on Wednesday reserved its judgement on the bail plea of Shahid Balwa, Asif Balwa and Rajeev Agarwal. CNBC-TV18 learns that while the order on Shahid Balwa will be pronounced on May 24, the order on Asif Balwa and Rajeev Agarwal will be pronounced on May 21.
The CBI had said that Swamy's allegation regarding possession of disproportionate assets by Raja and issues relating to the national security aspect are not directly related to the 2G scam.
The CBI, in its reply, said its investigation into the case is independent and not inspired by Swamy's complaint.
The Budget 2011-12 will be presented by Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee on 28th February 2011.
Former Telecom Minister A Raja was today remanded to CBI custody for four more days by a special CBI court along with Swan Telecom promoter Shahid Usman Balwa for questioning in connection with their role in the 2G spectrum allocation scam.
The three were arrested for allegedly abusing their official position and favouring some telecom companies in grant of licences by manipulating the procedures.
