Sebi may consider to take this specific settlement scheme to the board meeting, scheduled in June, for approval
The accused entities are India Infoline Commodities' director Nirmal Jain, Anand Rathi Commodities' directors -- Preeti Gupta and Rupkishore Bhutada -- and Geojit Comtrade's directors -- Shiney George and Manish Gupta, according to an order passed on Thursday.
In addition, the regulator has asked the broker to allow its existing clients to withdraw or transfer their securities or funds held in its custody within 15 days.
Some of the other leading brokers who are being probed in the NSEL case are Anand Rathi Commodities, Philip Commodities and Geofin Commodities.
"SEBI moved EOW and registered complaint against brokers who used NSEL platform and were involved in misselling products," a source told Moneycontrol.
A special court here has confirmed an Enforcement Directorate order to attach over Rs 566 crore assets in connection with its money laundering probe in the NSEL case.
