Last week, India managed to wangle a seat on the Missile Technology Control Regime (MTCR). This is a victory of sorts for the Indian subcontinent that has spent much talktime to broker a seat on at least one nuclear co-operative.
Astra Microwave is targetting revenue growth of 10 percent to Rs 450 crore, but this would mark strong growth in the high-margin domestic business even as exports are expected to come off from Rs 120 crore to Rs 45 crore, said Managing Director B Malla Reddy.
India becoming a member of MTCR is expected to pave the way for increased defence trade and technology transfer between India and the US. India has already shown keen interest in purchasing armed drones from the US.
