Homegrown auto major Mahindra & Mahindra will launch its new compact SUV named TUV300 in mid September as it looks to enhance its position as a leading manufacturer of utility vehicles in India.
The hatchback crossover segment in India started about a year back and since then it has caught on the fancy of the Indian consumers. So much so that it has even forced global manufacturing giants such as Volkswagen, Fiat, Toyota and Hyundai to join the bandwagon and cater to the whims of the Indians.
The company, which will launch the latest model i20 Active - a sports-styled version of its premium hatchback i20 - next week, will introduce iX25 SUV in India ahead of the festive season.
Korean auto major Hyundai will make the global debut of its new crossover model, i20 Active in India next month as part of its plans to bring new products to touch the 5 lakh sales milestone in the country.
