Comic Con India founder Jatin Varma said expanding to three new cities was a huge challenge. 'I can't tell you how long I've been waiting to bring Comic Con to the City of Joy. Every few years, we’d try and have a false start, but it didn’t happen.'

Jatin Varma brought the concept of the International Comics Convention to India and started Annual Indian Comics Convention on February 19-20th, 2011 at Dilli Haat in New Delhi.
Comic Con India organises conventions across India. Its aim is to essentially create a platform for the comics industry, all the writers and artists to showcase their talent. CNBC-TV18‘s show Tech Toyz covered this action packed event and brought the highlights from the convention.
Jatin Varma is the founder of Twenty Onwards Media. He is attempting to give comics in India a new lease of life. He started Comic Con India, the country’s first ever comic convention. He is hoping to encourage more independent publishers and artist to explore the comic life.
