Talent solutions firm NLB Services observed that startups and IT companies are still active in campus hiring and expects that fresh graduates via campus hiring will lie somewhere between 20,000 and 60,000 this year, similar to last year.
The average salary offered to students during placements was Rs 21.48 lakh per annum, and the highest salary offered was $250,000 or Rs 1.9 crore.
The main recruiters of this year’s first session include Microsoft, Texas Instruments, Bajaj Auto, Bain and Company, Goldman Sachs, Qualcomm, Boston Consulting Group, JP Morgan Chase & Co, and McKinsey.
