Govt approves import tenders for 7,500-tonne pulses

A decision in this regard was taken at the meeting of the Price Stabilisation Fund Monitoring Committee (PSFMC) headed by Consumer Affairs Secretary C Viswanath.

"The state government has informed that it has geared up the entire machinery in all districts and everywhere raids are being conducted to check hoarding and black-marketing of pulses," Consumer Affairs Secretary C Viswanath told agency.
