Government made it clear that yoga guru Ramdev will have to today leave Ambedkar stadium where he has been staying put after his release from police custody last evening.

"Ramdev will have to leave Ambedkar stadium today. There is no question of his staying on," Union home secretary R K Singh told reporters here. The decision of Ramdev and his supporters to stay put in the central Delhi stadium after their release from police custody has been a cause of worry for Delhi Police which is making security arrangements for Independence Day celebration here tomorrow.

Red Fort, where Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will unfurl the national flag and address the nation, is close to Ambedkar stadium and the government would like to ensure that all protesters leave the area before the security forces sanitise it for VVIP movement.
