Parag Milk Foods on the other hand has been a rank under performer with flat returns for the year, although the stock rose 11 percent intraday yesterday on striking a deal with the Taj Group. Any product that has milk content or is a dairy based has the potential to flourish in India, said Bharat Kedia, CFO, Parag Milk Foods.
After the initial public offer (IPO) in May earlier this year, the company has managed to off-load its debt by Rs 100 crore and the current debt stands at Rs 250 crore, Devendra Shah told CNBC-TV18.
Speaking to CNBC-TV18, Bharat Kedia, CFO of the company said the mix of value added products is driving earnings before interest, tax, depreciation & amortization (EBITDA) margin expansion.
