Om Metals Infraprojects is in focus after its joint venture (JV) bagged an order worth USD 32 million for rehabilitation and completion of Kpong Left Bank irrigation project. This order has come in from the Ministry of Food and Agriculture of Ghana and will be funded by the World Bank. In an interview with CNBC-TV18, Vikas Kothari, Director and President of Om Metals discussed the details.
The construction of residential project Palacia at A2 Prithviraj Road near Statute Circle Jaipur has resumed. The JDA tribunal has given the clearance to resume construction at the Jaipur project. Vikas Kothari, President & Director of Om Metal Infraprojects told CNBC-TV18.
The first phase of the smart city will commence operations by 2016-17. The Delhi Mumbai Corridor Trust has approved funding for the project.
The company is a part of a consortium and has entered a joint venture with DB Realty for the same. Om Metals is the owner of the land and has a 35 percent stake in the partnership.
In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Vikas Kothari, executive director of Om Metals Infraprojects said, the company’s outstanding order book is close to Rs 1,000 crore.
