Who is Pinaki Misra, ex-BJD MP who tied the knot with TMC's Mahua Moitra

TMC MP Mahua Moitra has reportedly married BJD leader Pinaki Misra in Germany on May 03, according to The Telegraph. However, no official statement has been issue by either of them.

Pinaki Misra is a Biju Janata Dal leader and the former Member of Parliament from Odisha's Puri Constituency. He was first elected to the Parliament in 1996 after he defeated Braja Kishore Tripathy. He completed his graduation in History from St. Stephen's College and LL.B. from Faculty of Law, University of Delhi.

He is a senior advocate in the Supreme Court of India and also serves as a member of multiple committees, including the Standing Committee on Finance and the Business Advisory Committee.

Mahua Moitra is a two-time Lok Sabha MP from West Bengal's Krishnanagar. She was earlier married to Danish financier Lars Brorson, whom she later divorced.

Additionally, she was in a relationship with advocate Jai Anant Dehadrai for nearly three years.
