Watch: India destroys Pakistani drone launch pads as military conflict escalates

This action follows an escalation the previous night, when Pakistan launched a swarm of drones aimed at multiple Indian cities, including Jammu.

The Indian Army carried out a successful operation to destroy Pakistani posts and terrorist launch pads that had been used to launch drones targeting Indian positions near Jammu, according to defense sources cited by news agency ANI.

The operation resulted in the complete destruction of these posts, and a video shared by ANI captured the scale of the damage caused. This action follows an escalation the previous night, when Pakistan launched a swarm of drones aimed at multiple Indian cities, including Jammu.

In response to the attack, a blackout was imposed in several regions across India, with emergency sirens sounding across affected areas. The operation by the Indian Army marks one of the most significant military escalations between India and Pakistan in the past thirty years.

This period of heightened tensions reflects the ongoing volatility between the two nations, which has recently seen an uptick in cross-border provocations, further complicating the already fragile relationship.
