Watch: Auto rickshaw driver threatens Hyderabad police with dead snake after being stopped for drunken driving

PTI further said that the driver suddenly pulled out a dead snake and started threatening police personnel and demanded that his vehicle be released immediately and that no case be registered against him in the matter.

In a bizarre incident, an auto rickshaw driver threatened the Hyderabad Police with a dead snake after he was allegedly stopped because of drunken driving, reports said. The incident was captured on camera.

It happened within the limits of the Chandrayangutta Traffic Police Station, PTI said. Officials confirmed that the police were conducting routine vehicle checks when they found that the auto rickshaw driver was driving under the influence of alcohol.

The police then took his vehicle into custody and the driver was asked to remove his personal belongings from the three-wheeler.
