Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar was hospitalized at AIIMS early Sunday morning after experiencing discomfort and chest pain, according to sources. The 73-year-old arrived at the facility around 2 a.m, reported Economics Times.
He was admitted to the Critical Care Unit (CCU) and is being overseen by Dr. Rajiv Narang, the Head of the Cardiology Department at AIIMS.
The Economic Times report citing sources said that Dhankhar’s condition is stable, and he remains under observation with a team of doctors closely monitoring his health.
