Rescue operations are in full swing, with teams from the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), and Indian Army working tirelessly to evacuate stranded individuals and locate the missing.
Kamlesh Kamal, ITBP Spokesperson, provided an update on the ongoing efforts, stating, "Five teams of ITBP consisting of 130 jawans are there in Dharali. More than 100 jawans are en route, and they will reach there soon... We have recovered a body this morning, and more than 100 people have been rescued. Today, we have also set up communication... "Apart from this, all types of reviews have been done here. The health department is deploying doctors at its level. It is making immediate arrangements for medicines, food etc and to ensure that the ration reaches there, the police department has appointed about 160 police personnel, 10 senior officers and three SP rank officers there. Three nodal officers have also been appointed from here," he further said.

Uttarkashi flash floods: Home Minister Amit Shah posts on X: 'Spoke with CM Dhami; NDRF, ITBP teams left for site'
Union Home Minister Amit Shah wrote on X, "Spoke with the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand regarding the flash flood incident in Dharali (Uttarkashi) and gathered information about the event. Uttarakhand flash floods: Home Minister Amit Shah speaks to CM Dhami; ITBP, NDRF teams rush to site
Union Home Minister Amit Shah has spoken to Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on the heavy damage caused by a cloudburst in the Dharali (Uttarkashi) region. Both the ITBP and the NDRF teams have been directed to reach at the spot.
A 16-member team from Indo-Tibetan Border Force (ITBP) has arrived at the cloudburst site in Uttarkashi to assist in rescue operations. Another team of ITBP’s 12th Battalion has also been rushed from Matli in Uttarakhand to arrive at the cloudburst site, says ITBP
Three teams of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF)- one each from Manera, Batkot and Dehradun have been dispatched to the cloudburst site in Uttarkashi. Further, two teams are in readiness at Shashtradhar airstrip for airlift, says NDRF — ANI

Uttarakhand flash floods: CM Dhami says situation being closely monitored
A cloudburst triggered a massive flash flood in Uttarkashi’s Dharali village, wiping out houses and cattle on Tuesday. Rescue operations are underway.
Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said the news of heavy damage caused by a cloudburst in the Dharali (Uttarkashi) region is extremely sad and distressing.
“SDRF, NDRF, district administration, and other related teams are engaged in relief and rescue operations on a war footing. In this regard, I am in constant contact with senior officials, and the situation is being closely monitored. I pray to God for everyone’s safety,” he wrote on X.
