The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) took a dig at Rahul Gandhi after the Congress party failed to win a single seat in the Delhi assembly elections held on February 5.
"Historic achievement by @IncIndia in Delhi! Under the "leadership" of Rahul Gandhi, they have achieved something truly extraordinary — ZERO," the Karnataka unit of BJP posted on X.

In the third consecutive season of electoral drought in Delhi, the grand old party once again drew blank. In 2015 and 2020 too, the party failed to open its account in Delhi.
Humbling accepting the mandate of Delhi, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Saturday said that the fight for the progress of Delhi and against pollution, price rise and corruption will continue.
"We humbly accept the mandate of Delhi. Heartfelt thanks to all the Congress workers of the state for their dedication and all the voters for their support. This fight for the progress of Delhi and the rights of Delhiites – against pollution, price rise and corruption – will continue," he said in a post on X in Hindi.
Training his guns on the Congress, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the people of Delhi have again given a big message to the party and it has secured a "double hat-trick" in the national capital.
"Congress has hit a double hattrick of ‘zero’ in Delhi elections. The oldest party in the country is not able to get even one seat in the national capital for the last 6 times. They are giving the gold medal of defeat to themselves," he said while addressing BJP workers at the party headquarters.
"These people are giving themselves the gold medal in defeat. The truth is that the country is not willing to trust the Congress. I had said the last time that the Congress has become a parasitic party. It drowns and takes down its allies with it," the Prime Minister added.
