In the ongoing counting of votes, JJP's Dushyant Chautala is currently trailing by 29,000 votes after the 11th round. Congress's Brijendra Singh is leading in the constituency, reflecting a significant shift in voter sentiment as the election results unfold.

In Haryana's Uchana Kalan, Congress's Brijendra Singh is leading by 3,028 votes after the 8th round of counting. Meanwhile, JJP's Dushyant Chautala is trailing significantly, lagging behind by 23,448 votes.

JJP's Dushyant Chautala is trailing by 17,000 votes after the sixth round of counting in Haryana's Uchana Kalan constituency. Congress candidate Brijendra Singh is currently leading the race with a margin of 3,236 votes.

Early trends show that Congress' Brijendra Singh is leading over BJP's Chautala.

Several exit polls suggest that Congress may emerge victorious in the Haryana elections, which recorded a voter turnout of 67.90 percent. Despite this, the BJP remains optimistic about winning a third consecutive term. Key players in the election include the BJP, Congress, Aam Aadmi Party, INLD-BSP, and JJP-Azad Samaj Party, with the fiercest competition likely occurring between the BJP and Congress.

Going back to the 2009 parliamentary polls, the INLD was the leading party in the Uchana Kalan assembly segment, while Bhajan Lal of the HJCBL won the Hisar Lok Sabha seat, defeating Sampat Singh of INLD, further highlighting the shifting political dynamics in the region.

In the 2014 elections, the BJP was ahead in the Uchana Kalan assembly segment, though the Hisar Lok Sabha seat was won by Dushyant Chautala of the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD), who defeated Kuldeep Bishnoi of the Haryana Janhit Congress (HJC-BL).

Dushyant Chautala, representing the Devi Lal lineage, is up against Brijendra Singh, a former MP from Hisar and the son of former Union Minister Birender Singh, who quit the BJP to join Congress earlier this year. Brijendra Singh, a bureaucrat-turned-politician, and his father Birender Singh represent a family that held sway over Uchana Kalan before Dushyant's victory in 2019. Birender Singh, the grandson of farmer leader Sir Chhotu Ram, was a five-time MLA from the constituency and a longtime Congress leader before joining the BJP in 2014.

The JJP, in alliance with Chandra Shekhar Azad's Azad Samaj Party (Kanshi Ram), is hoping to retain Uchana Kalan, while Congress aims to reclaim its traditional bastion with Brijendra Singh’s candidacy. As the election battle unfolds, all eyes are on Uchana Kalan to see how this historic rivalry plays out.

In 2019, Dushyant Chautala defeated Brijendra Singh's mother, Prem Lata Singh, by over 47,000 votes. However, Prem Lata Singh had defeated Dushyant in 2014, making this contest a continuation of a closely-fought family rivalry. Brijendra Singh, who defeated Dushyant in the 2019 Hisar parliamentary seat election, now faces him in the state elections.
