Two suspected ISIS terrorists arrested in Delhi, Ranchi

One of the suspected ISIS terrorists, identified as Azhar Danish, had a case registered against him in Delhi.

A suspected ISIS terrorist was arrested from Islamnagar area of Ranchi in Jharkhand in a joint operation by Delhi Police Special Cell, Jharkhand ATS and Ranchi Police, on Wednesday.

The accused, identified as Azhar Danish, had a case registered against him in Delhi, based on which the Delhi Special Cell was on the lookout for him. He is being questioned, Delhi Police sources told ANI.

In a similar manner, another ISIS suspected terrorist named Aftab was arrested from Delhi on Wednesday in a joint raid of Delhi Police Special Cell and central agencies

Raids are going on at 8 locations and about 8 suspects have been apprehended. They are being questioned, as per the sources.

Delhi Police Special Cell says, "Some arrests have been made by Delhi Police Special Cell in an ongoing operation."
