Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday used Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday to share a personal anecdote about his leadership style and organisational values.

Shah said that during a journey to Rajkot years ago, Modi had taught him a lesson that remains integral to his life: in an organisation, leaders must always take care of workers before themselves.

“That episode of the journey to Rajkot, when Modi ji gave this sensitive lesson that in the organisation, one should take care of the workers before oneself. That lesson of his has become an integral part of my life today,” Shah said in a post on X.

He added, “Trust, belonging, and dedication—these are the soul of the organisation, and this is Modi’s greatest teaching.”

Shah’s remarks, shared on the Prime Minister’s birthday, underline his message of trust and worker-centric organizational culture as key to the BJP’s strength and unity.
