American rapper and songwriter Travis Scott set the stage ablaze in Delhi on October 18 and 19 as part of his Circus Maximus World Tour. Thousands of fans thronged the venue, singing along and cheering as the Grammy-nominated artist performed his chart-topping hits.
However, the electrifying concert took an unexpected turn when a fan jumped the barricade and attempted to run toward the stage. The moment, captured on camera, quickly went viral on social media. In the clip, the man, later identified as Ansh, a DJ by profession, can be seen sipping from a hip flask before being intercepted by security and police officials. It remains unclear whether the drink contained alcohol or a soft beverage.
The situation was brought under control soon after, with other concertgoers seen helping resolve the commotion. Despite the brief chaos, the show continued without further incident, and fans praised Scott’s high-energy performance.
According to reports, the concert saw one of the largest turnouts for an international music event in India this year. To manage the crowd, around 1,600 private security personnel and 1,200–1,800 Delhi Police officers were deployed at the venue.
As listed on BookMyShow, tickets for the Delhi concert were priced between Rs 4,000 and Rs 30,000, depending on seating categories. Scott is now set to perform in Mumbai on November 19 at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse, with ticket prices ranging from Rs 7,000 to Rs 35,000.
The Circus Maximus tour marks Travis Scott’s first-ever concert series in India, fulfilling a long-standing dream for thousands of Indian fans who had been eagerly awaiting his live performance.
