Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday met the victims of Delhi blast at LNJP hospital in the national capital. The PM undertook the tour hours after reaching Delhi post conclusion of his official trip to Bhutan.

Probe into the deadly explosion near Red Fort that left at least 12 dead and injured more than 20 individuals has revealed several significant details, including the identification of the driver who was driving the Hyundai i20 car. Identified as Umar un-Nabi, the suspect was doctor from Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama and was allegedly linked to the terror module that was busted in Faridabad a day before.

The blast took place in a Hyundai i20 car at 6.52 pm near the Red Fort Metro Station on Monday ( November 10), leaving mangled bodies and damaged cars scattered in the busy area.

An initial assessment of the blast indicated the suspects may have panicked and made a mistake while carrying the explosives, various publications reported citing top security officials. As the probe into the blast deepens, investigators today took three more doctors from Faridabad's Al-Falah University into custody.

"Went to LNJP Hospital and met those injured during the blast in Delhi. Praying for everyone’s quick recovery. Those behind the conspiracy will be brought to justice!," tweeted the PM on X.

The investigation into the Delhi blast incident  has been handed over to the National Investigation Agency (NIA). Initial investigation, as of Tuesday (November 11, 2025), seems to suggest a doctor from Pulwama was likely the sole occupant of the vehicle that exploded on Monday (November 10). The bomb explosion was “premature” as the person was said to be acting in haste due to pressure of police raids that had already led to the arrest of two colleagues.
