Tej Pratap Yadav reacts after ouster, congratulates brother Tejashwi on newborn son

Two days after his expulsion from RJD and the Yadav family, Tej Pratap Yadav on Tuesday congratulated his younger brother Tejashvi Yadav for becoming a father for the second time.

"With the infinite grace and blessings of Shri Banke Bihari Ji, I have got the good fortune of becoming the elder father on the arrival of the newborn baby (the birth of a son).. Hearty congratulations and best wishes to younger brother Tejaswi Prasad Yadav and Raj Shri Yadav... My affectionate blessings and love to the nephew..." tweeted Tej Pratap Yadav.

Tejashwi, RJD's chairman, and his wife Rajshree welcomed a baby boy this morning. The couple has a two-year-old daughter Katyayani. The joy in the RJD first family comes days after party patriarch Lalu Prasad Yadav expelled Tej Pratap for six years over a Facebook post.

RJD chief Lalu Yadav on Sunday expelled his elder son Tej Pratap Yadav from the party for six years and also decided to break his ties with him, citing his "irresponsible conduct" and deviation from the family's values and public decorum.

The development came a day after a post on Tej Pratap's X account said he was in a relationship with a woman named Anushka Yadav for the last 12 years. However, Tej Pratap, who is fighting a bitter divorce battle with his estranged wife Aishwarya Roy, claimed that his account was hacked and the post was deleted, the damage was already done.
