Tej Pratap Yadav, who has been expelled from his family and party in Bihar, made a pointed anti-family remark during an address in Bihar’s Jehanabad on Saturday. The comment came after a supporter from the crowd chanted, “Abki baar Tejashwi sarkar.”
“Don’t talk nonsense here… Government is formed by people, not by an individual. Nobody should be egoistic about it. ‘Jo Ghamand Mein Rahega, Vo Jaldi Girega’,” he said.
He further added, “Don’t fall for those who are trying to break the ‘Team Tej Pratap Yadav’. Someone tried to break me, but god gave me another chance. The one who can’t be loyal to their own people, what can they do for the citizens? I don't have the greed to be the CM."

Back in May, Lalu Prasad, the RJD supremo, suspended his eldest son from party and family circles for six years, pointing to lapses in personal conduct and moral values.
"Ignoring moral values in personal life weakens our collective struggle for social justice. The actions, public conduct, and irresponsible behavior of my eldest son are not in accordance with our family’s principles. Therefore, under these circumstances, I am removing him from the party and the family. Effective immediately, he will have no role of any kind in either. He is expelled from the party for six years," Lalu had said.
In August, Tej Pratap announced the formation of a coalition of five minor parties to contest the assembly elections in the eastern state.
The five parties are Vikas Vanchit Insaan Party (VVIP), Bhojpuriya Jan Morcha (BJM), Pragatisheel Janta Party (PJP), Wajib Adhikar Party (WAP) and Sanyukt Kisan Vikas Party (SKVP).
Assembly polls are slated to be held in Bihar by the end of this year.
