Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said that he used to follow Chandrababu Naidu when he was Gujarat CM to see how he was developing Andhra Pradesh and Hyderabad
"Amaravati is going to be a city where dreams of the youths will get fulfilled. Amaravati will emerge as a leading city in sectors such as information technology, artificial intelligence, green energy, clean industry, education and healthcare. The central government is providing all the assistance to the state government to provide the infrastructure needed for these sectors," he said while addressing a rally in Andhra Pradesh after he virtually laid the foundation stone to relaunch the capital city of Amravati.
The PM said that 'Swarna Andhra' will strengthen the pathway for Viksit Bharat.
"Amravati is the capital of Indralok and it is not merely a coincidence that Amravati is the capital of Andhra Pradesh. It is a sign of the establishment of 'Swarna Andhra'. 'Swarna Andhra' will strengthen the pathway for Viksit Bharat and Amravati will empower the vision of 'Swarna Andhra,' said PM Modi.
"The Rs 60,000 cr worth projects launched today in Andhra are foundation for Viksit Bahrat. Amaravati not just a city, but energy; would transform Andhra Pradesh into ''Modern Pradesh''. I see Amaravati not just as a city but a fulfilled dream. Amaravati is such a place where legacy and development go together," he added.
