SC pulls up Udhayanidhi Stalin over remarks against 'Sanatana Dharma'

The top court has adjourned the plea for hearing on March 15.

The Supreme Court on March 4 pulled up Tamil Nadu minister Udhayanidhi Stalin over his remarks against 'Sanatana Dharma', saying that he should be aware of the consequences of his statements.

"You are not a layman. You are a minister. You should know the consequences," the top court told Udhayanidhi's lawyer.

Udhayanidhi's lawyer had moved the Supreme Court seeking clubbing of multiple FIRs registered against him in several states over his remarks.

The top court has adjourned the plea for hearing on March 15.
