Days after Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Saurabh Bharadwaj dared Suryakumar Yadav to donate all his match earnings to the families of the victims of Pahalgam attack, BJP IT Cell chief Amit Malviya said Yadav responded to Bharadwaj's challenge in a fine style.
During an earlier clash with Pakistan, in which Team India won comfortably, Bharadwaj had targeted India T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav over his tribute to the victims of the Pahalgam terror attack.
Taking to X, Malviya said: "The two-penny AAP MLA, clown of Arvind Kejriwal, had the audacity to challenge Team India’s captain to donate his match fee to the Armed Forces in support of the Pahalgam terror attack victims. Our captain responded in style"

Moments after India beat Pakistan in a thrilling encounter in Asia Cup 2025 final in Dubai, Team India captain Suryakumar Yadav announced that he will donate all his individual match fees from the tournament to the victims of the Pahalgam attack.
“I have decided to donate my match fees from this tournament to support our Armed Forces and the families of the victims who suffered from the Pahalgam terror attack. You always remain in my thoughts. Jai Hind,” Surya wrote on Twitter (now X).
Bharadwaj had remarked: He (Suryakumar Yadav) said he dedicated this win to the victims of the Pahalgam terror attack so easily. You are very understanding. Agar tumhari aukaat hai, aur tumhari BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) ki aukaat hai, aur tumhari ICC (International Cricket Council) ki aukaat hai, toh tumhe dusri chunauti bhi dete hai. Jitna paisa tumne in broadcasting rights se kamaya hai, advertisers se kamaya hai, aur iss pure dhande mein aapne kamaya hai, de do un 26 vidhwahon ko. Hum bhi maan jayenge tumne dedicate kiya hai (If you, the BCCI and the ICC have the courage, whatever you have earned during the match through the broadcasters and advertisers, donate it to the widows of the Pahalgam terror victims)," the former AAP MLA told reporters in the national capital.
