Preparations are in full swing for the upcoming inauguration and consecration ceremony of the Ram temple, set to take place on January 22 in Ayodhya. Every detail, including accommodations and security measures, is being meticulously organised for the expected attendees. Also, the production of laddus for the pran pratishtha programme has started.
Skilled sweet-makers from both Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat are diligently making unique laddus, using traditional desi ghee. As per several media reports, these sacred offerings, known as prasad, will be distributed by disciples of Devraha Baba to the dedicated followers of Lord Ram, who are expected to gather on the auspicious day of January 22.

Laddu prasad is being prepared and packed in tiffin boxes. Reports quoted a disciple of Devraha Baba as saying, "These laddus are made with pure desi ghee, without a single drop of water. They won't spoil for six months. Initially, they will be presented to Lord Ram Lalla on a silver plate. This prasad will be given to VIPs after the Bhog ceremony. Each box will contain a total of 11 laddus. Additionally, prasad will be distributed to Ram devotees who come for darshan, and each box will contain five laddus."
During the Bhoomi Pujan ceremony in August 2020, disciples of Devraha Baba generously donated thousands of quintals of laddus to the Ram temple trust. Currently, a committed team of 40 sweet-makers is meticulously making 44 quintals of a special laddu, distinguished by the fact that it is prepared without a single drop of water. Notably, Devraha Baba, a visionary saint, had previously predicted the construction of the Ram temple. His prophecy precisely foresaw the establishment of a majestic temple at the exact location of Lord Ram's birth.

The production of laddus began on January 6 and is expected to continue until January 22. With an ambitious target of preparing approximately 45 tonnes of the popular sweet, confectioners are reportedly producing around 1,200 kg of laddus each day.
