The Ram Janmabhhomi Teerth Kshetra Trust will place a 'Time Capsule' 2,000 feet under the 'Ram Mandir' in Ayodhya. The time capsule will have a detailed history of the Ram Janmabhoomi.

As per the members of the Trust, the capsule will be placed below the site to avoid any future disputes over the area. The exercise is seen as an effort to avoid future contestations on various facets of the ‘Ram Temple’ history and serve an educational purpose.

Hindu devotees are preparing to inaugurate a grand temple dedicated to one of their holiest deities. At the same time, India's minority Muslims are planning to build a new mosque in the same city. The mosque project is being overseen by the Indo-Islamic Cultural Foundation (IICF), and the head of its development committee, Haji Arfat Shaikh, announced that construction will begin in May after the holy month of Ramadan. The mosque is expected to take three to four years to build.

Ahead of the much-awaited ‘Pran Pratishtha' ceremony at Ayodhya Ram Mandir, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Thursday launched a dedicated webpage to provide weather-related information for the holy city and other important nearby areas.

Officials from Hyderabad's Cyber Crime police have warned the public against opening malicious links that claim to have "live photos of Ayodhya" ahead of the consecration of Ram temple in Ayodhya. The Cyber Crime officials used X (formerly Twitter) to make this announcement, stating that on January 22nd, 2024, and after, there is a likelihood of a message being sent to several mobile devices with links to "live photos of Ayodhya" or similar types. They advised the public not to open such links as it could lead to hacking of their mobile phones and theft of their bank accounts. Additionally, the officials requested that everyone spread this message and especially inform senior citizens as they are soft targets.

Hundreds of temples spread across the United States are preparing to celebrate the consecration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya next week. Thousands of Indian Americans are expected to attend a series of events that will commence this week. On Friday, the Government of Maharashtra declared January 22 as a public holiday in honor of the Ram temple inauguration at Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh, as reported by PTI. The Maharashtra government stated that the state will observe a public holiday on Monday, January 22, on the occasion of the Ram Temple consecration ceremony in Ayodhya.

A notification from the state government mentions that, exercising powers given by the Ministry of Home Affairs, it has decided to announce a public holiday on Monday. Furthermore, all government offices, boards, and corporations under the Chandigarh Union Territory administration will remain closed on January 22 on the occasion of Ram Mandir consecration ceremony in Ayodhya, as stated in an order issued on Friday.

Amazon India has been issued a notice by the Central Consumer Protection Authority for selling sweets on its platform under the guise of being 'Prasad' from the Raghupati Ghee Ladoo, Khoya Khobi Ladoo, Ghee Bundi Ladoo, and Desi Cow Milk Peda products associated with the RRam Temple Ayodhya. The CCPA, headed by Chief Commissioner Rohit Kumar Singh, has taken action against Amazon Seller Services in response to this. It has been observed that various sweets and food products are available for purchase on the Amazon e-commerce platform, with claims that they are "Shri Ram Mandir Ayodhya Prasad".

The Uttar Pradesh Police Anti-Terrorist Squad announced on Friday that they had apprehended three men who were engaged in suspicious activities in Ayodhya on Thursday. Upon interrogation, it was discovered that the three were working for Khalistani sympathizers and were conducting a reconnaissance mission for a possible incident in Ayodhya, according to officials. The UP ATS released a statement stating that the chief of the banned organization Sikhs For Justice (SFJ), Gurpatvant Singh Pannun, had released an audio clip confirming that the three detained individuals were affiliated with the SFJ.

Security has been beefed up in Ayodhya and across the state. Meanwhile many pre Pran Pratishtha rituals were performed on January 19 which includes dev prabodhan, aushadha adhivas, ghrita adhivas, kund poojan and Agni kund sthapana. These Pre Pran Pratishtha rituals are being performed in Ayodhya under the supervision of Ganeshwar Shastri Dravid which will continue till 21 January. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today launched the solar based tourist boat services for devotees. He visited the tent city where the invitees coming from all across the globe in Ayodhya will be staying and reviewed the arrangements.

During the programme, eight different traditional Mandalis will recite the Ramkathas, which are Sanskrit, Awadhi, Kashmiri, Gurumukhi, Assamese, Bengali, Maithili, and Gujarati recounting the episode of Shri Rama's return to Ayodhya. This is in line with Bharatiya cultural ethos and bonding, which is at the core of 'Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat'. Additionally, in Sri Arulmigu Ramanathaswamy Temple, the Prime Minister will also participate in Bhajan Sandhya, where multiple devotional songs would be sung at the temple complex in the evening, as stated in the release on Thursday.

On January 21, Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to conduct Darshan and Pooja at Kothandaramaswamy Temple in Dhanushkodi. He will also visit Arichal Munai, which is believed to be the location where the Ram Setu was constructed and is in proximity to Dhanushkodi.

On Saturday, Modi will begin his visit with a programme at the Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple in Tiruchirappalli. During this programme, scholars will recite verses from the Kamba Ramayanam. Later that day, Modi will visit Rameswaram to perform Darshan and Pooja in the Sri Arulmigu Ramanathaswamy Temple. Additionally, Modi will continue the tradition of attending Ramayana chanting in various languages by participating in the program 'Shri Ramayana Paryana' at this temple.

In preparation for the Ayodhya consecration ceremony on January 22nd, the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, has been visiting various temples associated with Lord Ram during his official state visits. As per a statement from the Prime Minister's office, Modi is scheduled to visit significant temples in Tamil Nadu on January 20th and 21st before the 'pran prathishtha' ceremony for the Ram Temple on January 22nd.
