Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Bihar on Sunday to address multiple election rallies and lead a mega roadshow in Patna ahead of the state Assembly polls.
PM Modi is scheduled to address public meetings in Ara and Nawada before participating in a roadshow in the state capital. The Bihar Assembly elections, covering 243 constituencies, will be held in two phases on November 6 and November 11. The first phase will see polling in 121 segments.
This will mark PM Modi’s third roadshow in Patna since last year’s Lok Sabha elections. Earlier this year, he had held one soon after ‘Operation Sindoor’.
Ahead of the event, elaborate security arrangements have been made. The roadshow will begin at Dinkar Golambar, where the Prime Minister will pay floral tributes to Rashtra Kavi Ramdhari Singh Dinkar. It will then pass through Thakurbari Road and Bakarganj before concluding at Udyog Bhawan near Gandhi Maidan. Later in the evening, PM Modi is expected to offer prayers at Takhat Sri Harimandir Ji Patna Sahib Gurudwara.
Meanwhile, Home Minister Amit Shah and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will also campaign in the state on Sunday. Shah will address rallies in Muzaffarpur and Vaishali, while Gandhi will speak at public meetings in Begusarai and Khagaria in support of INDIA bloc candidates.
