Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday received a telephone call from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, during which both leaders reviewed the progress in the India–Israel Strategic Partnership and agreed to further strengthen bilateral cooperation.
The leaders “expressed satisfaction at the continued momentum” in ties and reaffirmed their commitment to deepening the partnership for mutual benefit, according to an official statement by the Prime Minister's Office.
PM Modi and Israel's PM Benjamin Netanyahu strongly condemned terrorism and reiterated their zero-tolerance approach towards terrorism “in all its forms and manifestations.”
They also exchanged views on the ongoing situation in West Asia. Prime Minister Modi reaffirmed India’s support for efforts aimed at achieving a just and durable peace, including the early implementation of the Gaza Peace Plan.
