Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent travel itinerary has sent a clear and calculated message to Pakistan in the wake of Operation Sindoor and the ensuing military escalation between the two nations.
Over the last few days, the Prime Minister has visited the border states of Punjab, Rajasthan and Gujarat — using each stop to deliver powerful warnings to Pakistan as India watches the neighbour carefully after pulling back from the brink.
On Monday, after inaugurating an Indian Railways Locomotive Manufacturing Plant in Gujarat's Dahod, PM Modi launched a scathing attack on Pakistan.
The Prime Minister said that Operation Sindoor lived up to the expectations of 140 crore people of India. "Jab koi hamari behno ke sindoor ko mitayega, toh uska bhi mitna tay ho jata hai... Atank phailane walon ne sapno mein bhi socha nahi hoga Modi se muqabala kitna mushkil hota hai. (When someone removes the Sindoor from our sisters' and mothers' foreheads, then their death is also confirmed. Those who fan terror had not even imagined in their dreams how difficult it is to face Modi)," Modi said addressing a public rally in Dahod on Monday.
He is scheduled to visit Bhuj later today — home to the strategically important Rudra Mata Air Force Station, one of the Indian Air Force’s key forward bases in the western sector.

Days after India and Pakistan agreed to a ceasefire understanding, PM Modi visited Punjab's Adampur airbase and interacted with pilots and support staff who carried out Operation Sindoor. Adampur was among the air force stations that Pakistan attempted to attack on the intervening night of May 9 and 10 after India's "Operation Sindoor".
PM Modi, who was briefed by Air Force personnel and interacted with jawans, described the visit as a “special experience”.
Powerful visuals from the visit quickly went viral on social media, with PM Modi seen wearing a cap emblazoned with a trishul, congratulating airmen with a sense of pride and chants of Bharat Mata ki Jai filling the air.
In photos shared by PM Modi, a MiG-29 jet and an intact S-400 air defence system was visible in the background. It debunked Pakistan's claim that its jets destroyed the S-400 air defence system.
He also posted a picture of him from the Adampur airbase with a message on the wall behind him saying: “Why Enemy Pilots Don’t Sleep Well”.
“Our brave soldiers displayed immense courage to achieve the objectives of Operation Sindoor. I pay tribute to their bravery, courage and valour. I dedicate this valour to every mother, every sister and every daughter of the country," the PM had said.
Message from Bikaner
After Adampur, PM Modi headed to IAF's Nal airbase near Pakistan border exactly one month after the Pahalgam attack.
The Nal Airbase plays a vital role in India’s air defence strategy, providing a forward operating location for various fighter aircraft and serving as a key point for surveillance and reconnaissance missions in the region.
Addressing a public rally in Bikaner, PM Modi said, "The bullets were fired in Pahalgam... but those bullets pierced the hearts of 140 crore Indians. Every citizen stood united and resolved to wipe out the terrorists. The vermilion of our sisters was snatched away, but with the valour of our armed forces, we fulfilled our resolve."
PM Modi also said that the Indian airforce had destroyed the Rahim Yar Khan Airbase in Pakistan's Punjab province. "Rahim Yar Khan Airbase is in ICU," he said.
He said India’s response is a “new form of justice” and emphasised that there will be no trade or talks with Pakistan now.
“Pakistan used to spread terror, kill innocent people, create an atmosphere of fear in India. But Pakistan forgot one thing. Ab, Ma Bharti ka sevak Modi yahan seena taan kar khada hai. Modi ka dimag thanda hai, thanda rehta hai, lekin Modi ka lahu garam hota hai. Aur ab toh Modi ki nason mein lahu nahi, garam sindoor beh raha hai (Now, Mother India’s servant Modi is standing here with his head held high. Modi’s mind is cool, it stays cool, but Modi’s blood runs hot. And now, not blood, but hot vermilion is flowing in Modi’s veins).”
