Working with PM Modi is like being on a treadmill: Jyotiraditya Scindia

Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, on Tuesday, praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, underlining his deep connection with people and his transformative work in India's northeast.

Speaking at News18's Rising Bharat Summit, Scindia said, “PM Modi has an incredible ability to connect to all individuals.”

He added that he always thought PM Modi was a very driven person, committed person and dedicated person. Scindia also said that he PM Modi's perseverance has helped revived India as a cultural power.

"We have seeing that (revival of India as a cultural power) happen through prime ministers perseverance across the board, whether its Varanasi, whether its Ayodhya, Pavinath in my state, Mankalo, Ujjain, Mangal across the board in India," Scindia said.

Scindia added that PM Modi has had a reverberating effect in terms of India's culture, and the rise of India's cultural nationalism across the world.

Last week, Chilean President Gabriel Boric Font hailed PM Modi as a 'key player in geopolitics' because he can talk to every leader of the world, including US President Donald Trump and Ukraine's Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Further, he highlighted the significance of his country's relationship with India, emphasizing their shared commitment to strategic autonomy and mutual cooperation.

"Chile is a country that is connected to the world. We do not depend on one special country, but we have relationships with China, with the United States, with the European Union, with the countries from our region, Latin America, with the countries from Asia Pacific, Japan, Indonesia, Australia and now we want to work more deep in our relationships with India and we have given some important steps today," President Boric said.

Underlining the Prime Minister’s relentless pace, perseverance and dedication, Scindia remarked, “Working with PM Modi is like being on a treadmill - you’re always trying to keep up,”

“He has changed the perception of India’s northeast, turning it from the last frontier to the first frontier,” Scindia noted during a session titled "Bharat’s Ascent: Governance and Growth".

The two-day Rising Bharat Summit 2025 brings together top policymakers, industry leaders, and thought influencers to deliberate on India’s global aspirations and developmental milestones.

The 2025 edition of the summit focuses on themes such as innovation, infrastructure, economic resilience, and India’s role on the world stage.
