The attack, which occurred on Tuesday afternoon, claimed the lives of at least 26 civilians, including two foreign nationals.

The devastating terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam on Tuesday afternoon sent shockwaves across the nation when heavily armed terrorists dressed in Army fatigues opened fire on civilians in Baisaran Valley, killing at least 26 people.
The victims included tourists visiting the scenic area, known for its pony rides and meadows.
The Resistance Front (TRF), believed to be a proxy of Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba, has claimed responsibility for the assault, which occurred around 3 pm when militants descended from nearby mountains.
Condemning the "cowardly" act, PM Modi assured the nation that the perpetrators will be brought to justice.
