Parliament Session Highlights: Both Houses adjourned till Monday

Both the Houses, Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha, have been adjourned till 11 am on Monday.

On the allegations made by Congress MP and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, Congress MP Pramod Tiwari says, "... What Rahul Gandhi has said is based on facts and figures... These 40 lakh voters have emerged as a big factor in turning defeat into victory... Rahul Gandhi is saying this with facts and figures... Election Commission will have to answer because these allegations have been made on the basis of Election Commission documents ..."

A total of 8.59 crore hospital admissions worth Rs 1.19 lakh crore have been authorised under the Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) as on January 1, Union Health Minister J P Nadda said on Friday.

On EAM Dr S Jaishankar's statement in Rajya Sabha on the deportation of illegal Indian migrants by the US, he says, "EAM Jaishankar's statements in the Parliament yesterday were to mislead the house... This deportation is a great insult to the country... His statement was not satisfactory..."

Amid the ongoing budget session of the Parliament, Lok Sabha was forced to adjourn during question hour. This after opposition MPs sought discussion on the deportations of more than 100 Indian nationals by the United States.
