Pakistan has issued a second Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) within just five days, a move that intelligence officials interpret as an act of "panic and precaution" in response to India's ongoing Tri-Services Exercise Trishul 2025, according to a CNN-News18 report.

The latest NOTAM, valid from November 1 to November 30, restricts large portions of Pakistan's airspace - especially over its southern and coastal belts. Intelligence assessments cited by CNN-News18 suggest that the notice may be linked to upcoming naval live-firing drills or potential missile testing in the Arabian Sea, likely from Pakistan Navy assets operating near the Sonmiani range.

Sources said the sudden restrictions underscore growing anxiety in Rawalpindi over India's intensifying military drills, amid fears that Indian forces could conduct precision strikes targeting Pakistan's southern airbases and naval fleets stationed near Sir Creek and adjacent coastal zones.

India's Trishul 2025 exercise, described as a major tri-service operation, involves coordinated deployment of the Army, Navy, and Air Force across multiple strategic theatres, including the western front and the Arabian Sea. The exercise focuses on integrated warfare, rapid mobilisation, and maritime dominance - routine objectives that nonetheless appear to have rattled Islamabad's security apparatus.

Quoting a senior intelligence source, CNN-News18 reported that Pakistan's back-to-back NOTAMs "reflect both anxiety and deterrence signalling." The source added that Islamabad is attempting to project a state of readiness while safeguarding its air and maritime boundaries amid India's expanding operational tempo.

Pakistan's military has reportedly been placed on heightened alert until the end of November, with enhanced coastal surveillance and repositioning of air and naval assets to monitor activities in the north Arabian Sea.

Analysts say the development once again highlights the contrast between India's confident display of military integration and Pakistan's reactive posture - a reminder of the shifting strategic balance in the region.
