Over two dozen shots fired outside Youtuber Elvish Yadav’s Gurugram house

As per police officials, a case will be registered once a formal complaint is filed by the family.

Unidentified gunmen opened fire outside the residence of YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT winner Elvish Yadav in Gurugram’s Sector 57 early Sunday, police said.

According to officials, the incident took place around 5:30 am when three masked men on motorcycles sprayed over two dozen rounds at the house before fleeing the spot.

No injuries have been reported.

According to police cited in a News18 report, the bullets struck the ground and first floors of the building. Yadav, who stays on the upper floors, was not at home during the attack.

Some family members and his caretaker were inside but escaped unharmed.

A police team rushed to the location soon after the firing, collected forensic samples and began scanning CCTV footage from the area.

“Three masked miscreants opened fire outside the residence of YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT winner Elvish Yadav in Gurugram’s Sector 57. More than a dozen rounds were fired. Yadav was not present at the time,” said Sandeep Kumar, PRO of Gurugram Police.

Relatives of the YouTuber said he had not received any prior threats.

As per police officials, a case will be registered once a formal complaint is filed by the family.

Yadav, who is currently outside Haryana, has not yet lodged an official complaint.

The probe is underway, police said.
